I feel as though I have just found the motherlode in A Series of Lessons in Raja Yoga. It may not be raja yoga as Patanjali laid out, but it does have a fine couple lessons on using the subconscious mind. I am still in the middle of lesson eleven - Subconscious character building - but I was very impressed with lesson ten - Subconsciousing - last evening, and shared a summary with hubby, who also liked it. I won't claim either of us grok the fullness yet, but there is some real Western occult philosophy of real practical use in this book. Oh, I still have lesson twelve, also on using the subconscious.
To use one of Atkinson's metaphors from the lessons, I need a little time to churn the cream into butter, but right now I just wanted to share my discovery with y'all. I realize it may sound like I am highly critical of Atkinson's work, but I do try to keep mentioning there is some good seed mixed in with the chaff here.
